Micah Ching
Owner, Coach
Coach Micah is the current Men’s Assistant Coach at Chaminade University. He has strong dedication to Hawaii’s youth, making sure every player receives tailored sessions to make them the best athlete—and person—they can be.
Clay Ah Soon (CJ)
Goalkeeper Coach
Coach CJ is the current Kamehameha Women’s Head Coach with collegiate goalkeeper experience. Born and raised in Hawaii, Coach CJ now applies his knowledge to raise the next generation of goalkeepers on Oahu.
Breylyn-May Bactista
Coach
Coach Breylyn is a former collegiate soccer player. Born and raised on Oahu, she spent 13 years playing competitive soccer with Rush before turning her attention to fostering the next generation’s love for the game through coaching.
La’a Gonsalves
Coach
Coach La’a is a current collegiate soccer player at Chaminade University. He was born and raised in Kauai and is dedicated to helping Hawaii’s youth succeed through sport across the islands.
Kayla Sato
Coach
Coach Kayla is a current D1 player who graduated from Mililani High School in 2023 after playing varsity soccer throughout her high school career. Coach Kayla played for Hawaii Rush but is committed to helping all players across Oahu reach their goals.
Ian Rees
Operations Support
Coach Ian is a former D1 collegiate athlete at Campbell University and professional player for Luton Town FC. Ian uses his soccer and professional freelance operations experience to support parents and coaches at The Footy Lab.
